Why getting a dental crown abroad?
A dental crown is a fixed prosthesis that looks like a natural tooth, with the same shape and colour. It is attached to an original tooth.
Our dentist recommend to get a crown when a tooth is too damaged and can’t be restored by conventional dental care.
As expensive as it can be, getting a dental crown abroad is very affordable while ensuring a high level of quality treatment.
Why choose a dental crown?
Do you want to repair a broken, cracked or very worn tooth? Getting a dental crown abroad is the solution to your problem.
Dental crowns offer an aesthetic result that looks like your natural teeth.
Dental crowns make it possible to chew as easily as with natural teeth.
Permanently sealed in the mouth, crowns are stable, resistant and can last for many years with a good dental hygiene.
You take care of a dental crown just as you take care of your real teeth, in addition to using dental brushes and dental floss.
A dental crown from the clinic El Cedro is very affordable: it goes from €390 per crown.

Getting a dental crown abroad; the procedure

1st Appointment
Preliminary examination, preparing the teeth and taking dental impressions
During the preliminary examination, the dentist will take an x-ray of your dentition, with a special attention to the area that will be treated.
Your dentist will then prepare the damaged tooth or teeth, creating space to put the final prosthesis in place.
Finally, the dentist takes an impression that will be used by our prosthetists to make your dental crowns.

2nd Appointment
Installing and sealing the prosthesis and adjusting the occlusion
During this second and final visit, the dentist will put your final crowns in place. Your dentist will check they are positioned correctly, that they adapt properly to your gum and that they are the right colour.
Your crowns will then be permanently sealed, using a sealing paste.
Eventually, your dentist will check the occlusion of your teeth with blue paper. If necessary, a final adjustment will be made.
